Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 11 April 2026
1. Our commitment
TimeBeat is committed to making its website and digital services accessible to everyone — including people with visual, hearing, cognitive or motor impairments. Accessibility is not a checkbox for us; it’s part of how we expect any professional tool to behave.
This statement applies to timebeat.app. The accessibility of TimeBeat software products is described separately in their respective documentation.
2. Conformance target
We aim for conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced by both the UK Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations and the EU Web Accessibility Directive.
3. What we do
- Use semantic HTML landmarks so assistive technology can navigate content
- Ensure sufficient colour contrast for text and interactive elements against dark backgrounds
- Provide keyboard focus indicators for every interactive element
- Include descriptive alt text on meaningful images
- Respect the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query so animated transitions can be disabled by user preference - Test major page templates with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation
- Treat accessibility bugs as real bugs — they’re triaged and fixed like any other defect
4. Known limitations
We’re actively working on the following areas where conformance may be partial or where known issues exist:
- Some decorative parallax and scroll-driven animations are provided for visual emphasis and may be partially suppressed in reduced-motion mode.
- Embedded third-party content (calendar widgets, 3D scenes) may not always meet WCAG AA — we are working with our vendors to improve this.
- Some older PDF datasheets in the Downloads section may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are progressively re-tagging them.
If you encounter a page or feature that is inaccessible, please tell us — see “Feedback” below.
5. Technical approach
The site is built with modern web standards. We use React (Next.js), CSS transform and motion libraries, and ARIA attributes where native HTML doesn’t provide sufficient semantics. We test with the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and common assistive technologies (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS).
6. Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter something that doesn’t work for you, or if you have suggestions, please contact us:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can raise a complaint with the UK Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) via equalityadvisoryservice.com.
7. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 11 April 2026. It is reviewed and updated at least annually, and whenever significant changes are made to the site.
