The White Rabbit Mezzanine is an OEM-focused timing module for integrators who need to embed deterministic, phase-aligned timing into distributed systems. It can drive up to four SFP cages on the host's carrier board, alongside low-jitter local outputs and host-accessible telemetry, to extend and distribute ultra-precise synchronisation across complex environments — and plugs into host systems via a 30-pin × 4-row GPIO connector with USB-C management.

Enables up to four SFP cages

The mezzanine carries no SFP cages itself — it supplies the White Rabbit signalling to drive up to four SFP ports on the host’s carrier board, so integrators can fan out multi-node sync with the connector layout their system needs.

Lab-grade jitter performance

24.67 ps RMS jitter (std dev), 200.2 ps peak-to-peak spread across 61,816 sampled periods. A Gaussian-fit sigma of 26.77 ps is as clean as it gets outside of a metrology lab.

Rich coax I/O — A1-A4 outputs

Four phase-locked 1 PPS outputs and four 10 MHz outputs (all COAX), plus 10 MHz and 1 PPS inputs from an upstream grandmaster and a dedicated calibration / measurement port.

OEM-first hardware architecture

Compact integration footprint with all interfaces mapped to a GPIO connector. The module snaps into a host carrier board without custom enclosures or bespoke cabling.

The OEM mezzanine ships with TimeBeat's jitter attenuation engine integrated into the firmware. For system integrators embedding the mezzanine into their own platforms, the attenuation layer is available via the host API — no additional software integration required.
